Quickly Get Your Ex Back - Before Being Alone Destroys You

Monday, May 31st, 2010

Are you constantly thinking of ways to “get my husband back“? It was exactly the same for me when my partner left. There is a chance you can reverse this situation though.

What should I be doing?

Take a bit of time to be alone. No contact with your husband. A little time for yourself won’t hurt. You must be in control of your emotional side at all times. Use this time to get that control.

You can also use the time to plan your next move. Will you just hope & pray your husband walks back through the door? Or are you going to take action yourself and go get your husband back.

There’s another way the time apart benefits you. You husband will realise you are not around any more. By not being in your husband’s face you are at least in his thoughts. This is good.

What should I not be doing?

Where do we start? Pestering & pleading are going to ruin your chances. Calling or texting too many times. Following or (please no) stalking will end any hope of getting them back.

You aren’t helping yourself by relying on drink or drugs (legal or illegal) to get through this pain. Any or all of these things can at best drive your husband further away. You may even wind up in trouble with the police.

The last thing you need to do now is wreck any remaining chance you have. It’s pointless making plans to get your husband back if you are going to blow it. One rash move could blow your chances out of the water.

Get your husband back with a plan.

There’s a system out there with your name on it. Seriously! You probably already realise but you’re not the first to get dumped and hope to “get my husband back”. You certainly won’t be the last!

There’s a handful of broken hearts from the past that have put down on paper a set of ‘rules’. Which is precisely what you can use to get your husband back. You follow their blueprint to the letter and bingo!

Do you just wait in hope that your husband has a change of mind and comes back? I really doubt that’s going to happen, do you? Or will you decide to take some action and kick start things yourself?

What You Need To Know About How To Grill Pork Chops

Sunday, May 30th, 2010

Pork chops are popular when it comes to choosing a meat for grilling. This is because porkchops are straightforward to grill, don’t take much prep time and quite frankly, end up tasting awesome.

Just like any kind of meat, pork chops are available in a variety of weights and sizes. If you’re reading this, chances are you haven’t tried grilling pork before. Or you just want some variety in the meats you grill.

For starters, you need to look at the thickness of the pork chops. For best results and quick cooking time, they should be around 1-inch thick.

When you select pork chops, you’ll be faced with two choices: boneless or not. The truth is either is fine on the grill and won’t make a difference.

Another option to consider is getting pork tenderloin or loin instead of pork chops.

To make your pork nice and juicy (and who doesn’t want that?) you may want to brine it.

When you brine pork, you do it by soaking it completely in a special water mixture. Just know that when you brine pork, it’s overall wieght will increase by almost 15%. This increase in water weight is what keeps the pork moist and juicy while it’s grilling.

So what exactly is the brine mixture? It’s one cup of salt for every gallon of water. Ideally, there should be enough brine mix to submerge all the pork you’re going to grill completely. For best results, use sea salt. You’ll know the difference because the sea salt grain is much thicker and larger than that of table salt.

For extra flavor, you can add your own seasoning to the brine mix.

To make your pork taste real good, leave it submerged in the water and salt mix for up to sixteen hours. It’s best to make the brine mix and submerge the pork the day or night before, so it has plenty of time to soak.

Onward. Let’s talk about how to grill pork chops now.

There are a lot of factors that will determine how long to cook the pork. Some of these factors include the grill’s temperature, how thick the actual cut of pork is (which is why 1” thick is ideal), and whether there is bone in the pork or not.

The most important thing will be how thick your pork chops are sliced. Thicker pork chops need to cook longer, thinner ones less.

Finally, it’s time to grill some pork chops!

Some people prefer charcoal grills, while others rave about gas grills.

It’s up to you to decide this.

Believe it or not, grilling a pork chop is very similar to grilling steak.

Basically, you grill it over high heat and go easy on the flipping.

As far as the temperature of the grill, you’ll have to preheat the grill with the cover closed if it’s a gas grill like the Weber Q320.

For charcoal, you have to wait for the coals to turn white to know that the grill is hot enough.

At this point, slap the pork chops on and close the lid. If it’s charcoal, make sure to let some ventilation on the top.

Once the meat’s been cooking for like 60 seconds, flip the chops and rotate them if you need to.

One more thing … if you like to eat thick cuts of pork chops, here’s what you need to do:

Keep the grill temp lower. That means turn down the temperature control on a gas grill.

If it’s charcoal, place the meat away from the flames and/or heat. This will allow the pork chop to fully cook with out burning the outside.

If you have a particularly thick cut, you may need to turn down the heat after you flip the first time and cook for a longer period. Also if you are adding sauce to your chops do it with 3-4 minutes before they will be done or you can burn it.

Ideally, you can tell if the meat is done with a thermometer. For pork, the temperature should be 155 degrees Fahrenheit.

Otherwise, cut into the pork chop. It should be completely white or at best, slightly pink.

Note: Not all grills are created equal. That’s why it’s important to read before you buy, such as this Weber Q320 review.
